This Tuesday, Overwatch gave way to Overwatch 2, the second installment of the license that we discovered in 2016. The FPS is entering a new era which will be marked by an uninterrupted flow of content over the months and years, renewing the experience of players regularly. A page has turned, a new one begins.
Announced at BlizzCon 2019, Overwatch 2 is now still our hands. This first Season adds Sojourn, the Queen of Junkers, Kiriko, a salvo of cards and a new game mode, all accompanied by many new features and modifications. Notable difference with its elder, the transition to a team composed of 5 players, with a rebalancing of the heroes aimed in particular at reducing the overall amount of crowd control.
This new adventure is still in its infancy. Over the next few months we will see the introduction of new heroes, new maps and new game modes, but also PvE, deepening even more the universe in which we evolve. These missions will allow us to learn more about the history of the different characters, but will also offer great replayability and an extensive customization system via dozens of unique talents.
We are only at the beginning of what awaits us with Overwatch 2, and we can’t wait to follow all the new things that are on the horizon. Later this month, The Revenge of Dr. Schakalstein will return, with a previously unreleased film, La fiancée en furie. Prepare to once again defend Eichenwalde from the terrible creations that seek to tear you to pieces. It is then a new Tank which will arrive at the beginning of December.
While long queues may have gotten in your way during the evening, the situation is calmer today and the servers are accessible without major problems. So far, what are your first impressions of Overwatch 2 ? How did you experience the transition to 5 players in the teams? What do you think of the three heroines who joined the selection? Advanced mode and TS-1, faithful robot with complex tasks? Feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comments!
