Samsung would have delayed the launch of the Galaxy Tab S9

Samsung’s next stellar tablet family would be the Galaxy Tab S9. Rumors suggest that it would come in three versions: a standard, another Plus variant and an Ultra. Let’s say it’s a move similar to what the South Korean did with its current Galaxy Tab S8 line.

Some expected the new series of tablets by the end of 2022. However, a report originally from TheElec indicates that the company has postponed its announcement. Namely, Instead of being presented at the end of the year, the expected Galaxy Tab S9 would arrive in the second half of 2023. They would come hand in hand with what would be the future folding Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

The reason for the delay in the launch would be due to a decrease in demand for information technology (IT) products, including tablets. This comes from the drop in cases in COVID-19. The isolation caused by the pandemic is increasingly left behind around the world. There is also a recent global economic recession.

Several analysts predict a fall in the sale of tablets for this year. However, the tablet segment premium increase. That’s where these future high-end devices from Smasung come into play.

For now, this information is based on a rumour. We will have to remain cautious in case there are new developments on the subject.
