Yesterday in the transmission through Twitch that CD Projekt Red made, the long-awaited next-generation version for Cyberpunk 2077 was announced, a version with several improvements for Xbox Series X | S and PS5, and that players can now get it for free and with save data migration to your next gen consoles.

However, Cyberpunk 2077 is once again in the news regarding its performance, since as we could see in the features oriented to these new generation consoles, the Xbox Series S console was the most affected, since unlike Series X and PS5, which will have the necessary 60fps and Ray Tracing, the little one from Microsoft will be locked at 30fps.

This has generated countless criticisms through social networks, and some players have made comparisons with other productions mentioning that it is not necessary for this console to move to 1440p as long as there is the possibility of playing this title with greater fluidity, that is, to a 60fps standard.

It may be early to give sentences at the moment, but this is not the first time that a mega-production that comes out on new generation consoles has had to modify the performance at 30fps on Xbox Series S, it happened recently with Dying Light 2, where its studio was honest mentioning that it was difficult to optimize on Microsoft’s less expensive console, a title that was also locked at 30fps on said console.
