Battlefield 2042, the new Electronic Arts and DICE, was presented some time ago, which has led it to become one of the most anticipated games of the year, which this time will not offer us a campaign, but will compensate with huge maps and chaotic game modes.

As many of you know, the largest mode of the title will have the possibility of games with up to 128 players on huge maps, however, this feature is exclusive to PC and PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, since players from Xbox One and PS4 will only be able to access lobbies with a maximum of 64 players.

Until now, the company had not revealed anything about crossplay in Battlefield 2042, however, in recent hours it has been confirmed that the title will have Crossplay, although it will be somewhat different from what we are used to.

According to the official Electronic Arts website, the new Battlefield 2042 will have a separate Crossplay for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC, and another where Xbox One and PS4 players will be, due to the difference in the lobbying between systems.

It is also mentioned that PC and next-generation console players will be able to choose whether or not to play together through an option that they can activate or deactivate, however, PS4 and Xbox One players will be forced to be together.

In relation to cross-play, it has been mentioned that Battlefield 2042 will also have Crossprogression and Cross-Commerce, which means that we can migrate to any platform we want, taking our profile from one platform to another, and even the items that we buy within the section of microtransactions.

Battlefield 2042 will be released on October 22 and will hit the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms.
