The return to grace of Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 has just passed the 20 million copies sold mark, in particular due to the success of the very good Netflix anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners and updates. CD Project affirmed its desire to extend its licenses by derivative productions by associating with external companies. At the game level, Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion, which takes us to the new location of Pacifica, has just entered the final phase of its development. The Witcher: A New Trilogy
With a trilogy that has sold more than 65 million copies, CD Projekt stays the course by offering three new games. This is the Polaris project that heralds the start of an all-new trilogy based on the legacy of The Witcher 3. A big project that could be spread over 6 years. The Witcher, again: A multiplayer game
CD Projekt also announced the Sirius project, which will be a new game where the story will take place in the medieval-fantasy universe of The Witcher. The game will take a very different direction from its predecessors by offering a multiplayer experience in addition to a single-player campaign. The studio in charge of this big project will be the developers of The Molasses Flood.
The Witcher, one last time
We continue with The Witcher, but this time it’s the Canis Majoris project, a game apart. He presents himself as an open-world role-playing game, through a new single-player storyline. The development is based on an external studio and the game will run on Unreal Engine 5, the new graphics engine ofEpic Games.
Hadar: the unprecedented license
The CD Projekt program ends with a very important announcement and it is codenamed: Hadar. This is not a sequel to a well-known game, but of a brand new license. The project is in the early stages of the creative process, so development has not started yet. CD Projekt Red has remained very enigmatic for the moment, the title would be in incubation since the end of 2021
