Google launches the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro starting at $599 and $899

Google has finally unveiled its Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. The standard Pixel 7 It includes a 6.3-inch FHD + OLED screen (1080 x 2400 resolution, 416 PPI) covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass. Supports up to 1400 nits of maximum brightness24-bit color depth and a refresh rate up to 90Hz.

It is powered by a Google Tensor G2 processor along with a Titan M2 security coprocessor and 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Buyers can choose between models with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The dual camera array at the rear consists of a 50-megapixel Octa PD Quad Bayer wide camera with f/1.85 aperture and 82-degree field of view, as well as a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 114-degree field of view. There’s also a laser detection autofocus system, a spectrum and flicker sensor, and optical + electronic image stabilization.

According to Google, the battery of the Pixel 7 can last more than 24 hours in normal use and can be extended up to 72 hours with extreme battery saving. With fast charging, can recharge the battery to 50 percent in about 30 minutes with the optional 30W USB-C charger with USB-PD 3.0. It also works with Qi-certified wireless chargers.

The Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch screen with 120 Hz

The Pixel 7 Pro meanwhile, has a 6.7-inch LTPO QHD+ (1400 x 3120 resolution, 512 PPI) OLED panel and also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The larger panel supports a higher refresh rate, of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1500 nits.

The same Google Tensor G2 chip and Titan M2 security coprocessor power the phone, with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM alongside 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

A triple camera array adorns the back of the phone. A 50-megapixel wide-angle and 12-megapixel ultra-wide are inherited from the standard Pixel 7 and are joined by a 48-megapixel Quad Bayer PD telephoto camera with f/3.5 aperture, 5x optical zoom and a of vision of 20.6 degrees. The autofocus system with laser detection, a flicker and spectrum sensor and optical + electronic image stabilization are also included in the Pixel 7 Pro.

The battery life of the unit is 5000 mAh the same as the standard Pixel 7, with more than 24 hours or up to 72 hours in extended battery saving mode. It is also compatible with Qi-certified wireless chargers and works with fast charging.

Both phones employ a 10.8-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, fixed focus, and a 92.8-degree field of view. Video recording capabilities are also identical, up to 4K 60 FPS from the front and rear.

Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro are available to preorder for $599 and $899, respectively. The standard Pixel 7 is offered in white, black, and yellow, while the Pro can be yours in black, white, or gray.
