S.initially lied by Moto Guzzi, the future novelty V850 X it seems that it will come.
In fact, some indications appeared in a section of the Moto Guzzi website, which were later removed but which were stopped by screenshots.
The bike has not yet been seen and even the short teaser text leaves many unknowns, but to confirm the existence of this model there are the registered name and then some approval data.
In short, everything would suggest that the V850X could be presented at EICMA in November.
M.in the meantime, let’s see what is known so far. A year ago we published the photo of a brand new V7 with a disguised aesthetic and which was made on the basis of the V7 Special 2021.
Last July, the information regarding the new registered name arrived: Moto Guzzi V850 X and with those some homologation numbers that have outlined the main outlines.
ORIt is true that the engine mounted is the V2 of 853 cc air-cooled derived from the V85TT and later used by the V7 series, it has power of 66 horses and there is also in version from 47 horsepower (35 kW) for driving with an A2 license.
It has Kayaba suspension, Michelin Anakee II tires and a weight of 213 kg: that is 10 less than the V7 Special, compared to which confirms the measure of the wheelbase and width of the handlebar.
S.On the Moto Guzzi website, the V850 X was presented with the slogan “Two wheels, Two worlds”. A bike that “Abandons the classic stylistic features of the V7 to propose new ones more original and influenced from the California motorcycle culture “. But no cruiser though.

More than a scrambler it would therefore be a road model also intended for light touring thanks to the front fairing and can be equipped with a top case. But not a crossover seems to understand.
Denied months ago, the V850 X would therefore be close to presentation. We await curious.
